uses of coconut oil

1- Coconut oil is a great cleanser. Cleanse the build up of dirt and pollution by gently massaging coconut oil into your skin and leaving it on for around 10 minutes. Once its has lifted the dirt, remove it with a damp peace of cloth. Coconut oil is also anti bacterial and will work wonders on your skin.
2- Massage coconut oil into your hair. It strengthens your locks and adds shine and luster. After applying the oil, lift your hair up with a damp towel for 20 minutes before washing it off.
3- Coconut oil is also an excellent moisturizer. Massage you whole body with coconut oil before a night out to add a shine to your skin.
4- Apply coconut oil to flaky skin on hands and feet and use it as a scrub. You skin will feel rejuvenated instantly. Coconut oil also has anti-aging agent and can be used to reduce wrinkles thanks to its anti-oxidant properties.
5- Virgin Coconut oil (not chemically enhanced) can help you lose weight. True it has a high amount of saturated fat, but not all fats are created equal. The kind of fat in coconut oil can be dissolved quickly in the body and is burned immediately for energy. At the same time, coconut oil will boost your metabolism and make you feel full for longer periods of time. You can consume four table spoons of coconut oil a day by adding it to salads and using it in your cooking.
